More than 225 of these extraordinary images of "our Times," including a Pulitzer Prize winner and a dozen color action photographs from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, have been brought together in this book, a first collection of great photojournalism from the newspaper's pages. Seen together they make up a mini history of Southern California, from the Roarding Twenties to the Far-Out Eighties. (...)
